Paula Peter has been a capital campaign consultant and coach for more than 20 years.
Her clients have ranged from the largest of universities to small community-based human service and arts organizations.
She began her consulting career as a senior associate in the firm of Carol O’Brien Associates and worked with some of the largest and most prestigious institutions in the world including Cornell University, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania and WGBH Educational Foundation.
Paula founded The Solstice Group in 2002 and since then, she has worked on campaigns for dozens of organizations as varied as:
- The Rockwell Museum of Western Art in Corning, New York
- Hospicare and Palliative Services in Tompkins County
- Human Rights First in New York City
- WXXI Public Broadcasting Council in Rochester, NY
- Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, New York.
She went on to found the Ithaca Institute, an organization dedicated to the professional and personal development of advancement officers and not-for-profit leaders.
Paula brings a special set of coaching and leadership skills to Capital Campaign Masters. She understands the business of capital campaigns from the perspective of staff member, board member and consultant.
